One Hundred less One!

The Buffaloes started First Round Sub-State Action at home against the Elkhart Wildcats last night! Elkhart came determined and didn't lay down for the Buffaloes. With a seesaw battle in the first half, after 2 quarters the Buffaloes only saw themselves ahead by 8 points going into the lockerroom.

Second half action the Buffaloes found their game and started to spread the gap once they finally relaxed. Before we knew it we were up by 30+ points with the Buffaloes having 92 with 40 seconds left in the game! We we were all hoping for 100 but when the final buzzer sounded 100-1 is all we could manage with the final score being 99-57.

The remainder of the tournament will conclude in Sublette with the Buffaloes facing the hometown Sublette Larks in semi-final action!

Happy President's Day!

What a Monday . . . woke up to a rash of internet problems . .. like that is anything out of the ordinary for me . . . living in the country has it's advantages. . . but INTERNET OPTIONS is not one of them . . . so after numerous hours on the phone and having to spend yet MORE money to a company I despise. . . things are working better. . . but for how long who knows. . . I'm not very optimistic!

But on a better note, I got to sleep in since there was no school and it was a good day for a photo shoot . . . These 3 kiddos have been here before and when mom called to schedule for my John Deere Limited Editions I was excited. Here's the one that mom picked. . . aren't they cute! Thanks for coming!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wishing all my reader's a Happy Day today! Hopefully you got something from your special someone whether it was a card, candy or even flowers! I was in Alco last night around 4:30 or 5:00 and I have to say the card supply was pretty much GONE . .. so hopefully everyone got what they needed before that time! LOL. . . My boys are kind of out of the "Valentine Picture" stage so I'll use my nephew instead! I think he's still looking for his Valentine . . .

Wooo Hooo!

Okay ... I think that us parents have decided that WE are the ones with all these "rivalries" . . . the kids just don't seem to "get it" that you just don't ever want to lose to certain teams :::sigh:::

I'm really glad this night is over . . . and I guess it is kind of silly to get all worked up over just a ball game . . . as Coach Deighton says. . . but there's just something about it . . . some teams you just don't want to lose to .. and SWH is one of them!

Nonetheless both teams played VERY hard. . . and it came right down to the wire with the Buffaloes ending with the WIN! This was a great game as sub-state nears. Good Job Boys!

High School, Pep Rallies & Homecoming!

High School Days are known for many things. They create fun memories that hopefully our kids want to share with their own. Homecoming is always a memorable time for Seniors. Spirit week is always interesting to see what the daily themes are and how the kids respond with their creativity. The Homecoming Pep Rally can provide alot of entertainment as well! Sit back and relax.. . and enjoy the MHS version of "Dancing with the Stars" (The pictures really don't do justice to the humor that was provided to all of us :-) Sweetheart Homecoming Royalty honors went to Desarae Bolton & Bradon Wiens! Congratulations to them both! Enjoy!
