Friday Night Lights: Week 7

Week 7 featured the first district game for the Buffaloes and brought the Kinsley Coyotes to town. Kinsley is much improved over past years and came to town looking for a victory. They also brought a running back that leads the state in rushing yards. This made the Buffaloes have to step up their game a little to contain him. And that they did . . . The Buffaloes kicked off first but it didn't take long for them to gain possession. We seemed a little sluggish at first but it didn't take long to put the first points on the board! The Buffaloes proved to be a bit too much for the Coyotes and by halftime the score was 36-0. Coming out in the second half the Buffaloes were able to put one more TD on the scoreboard making the final score Buffaloes 43-Kinsley 6. Week 8 gives the Buffaloes a bye week since our district only has 3 teams. This will give them plenty of time to prepare for those Lacrosse Leopards that have won the district the past several years. You do NOT want to miss this matchup on THURSDAY, October 30th. We travel to Lacrosse again . . . so catch a ride and come support the Buffs!

Friday Night Lights: Week 6

Week Six had the Buffaloes hitting the road north to Bluejay Country! The flip of the coin gave the Buffaloes the opportunity to receive. Meade took command early, scoring with about 9:00 minutes left in the first quarter. It was pretty much all Buffaloes for the remainder of the night! Half-time score was 49-0. Second half action didn't look much better for the Bluejays as Meade continued to dominate offensively. Final scoring of the game came from #8 Jordan Mosier and a 64-0 Buffalo Victory. All the records go out the window next week as the Kinsley Coyotes come to town to start District Play! Kick off is at 7:00 p.m. Come out early and help us make some noise to cheer on the Buffaloes.

Friday Night Lights: Week 5

Week Five brings us the Elkhart Wildcats and Homecoming for the Buffaloes. Crowning took place before the game with Kyle Ross and Ashley Reimer being named King and Queen! Congrats to them both! The Buffaloes took command of the game right away hammering away at the Elkhart defense to put 7 points on the board very quickly. It was pretty much all Buffaloes in the first half. Second half saw more scoring and our JV kids did a fine job handling the defense as well putting their own points on the board. Elkhart was able to find the endzone before the night was over but the Buffaloes came out strongly on top with a 60-22 Homecoming Victory! Week 6 takes us to Bluejay Country as the Buffaloes travel to Cimarron.
