If it ain't broke . .. Don't FIX it!

Okay . .. you just don't realize how much you use something until you don't have it . . . Today is going on 4 days that my interent provider has decided that I do not need email! My provider is Hughesnet by the way . . . anyone in the rural area like I am . . . if you are considering it . . . I do not recommend it . . . but I have no choice at this point so I am stuck!

It's really amazing though just how much business I conduct through email alone . . . I don't know how many times over the past 3 days that I have started to email someone and then realized it would do no good . . . and then I have the people asking me if I got their email . . . and of course I haven't . . . GRRRR

The biggest problem with this whole UPGRADE that has caused this problem is that they did it to add more enhancements and features to our email system . . . features I simply do not need or care to even have. . . So. . . I stick to my analogy . . . "If it ain't broke, Don't FIX it!"

The last "note" posted on their customer care page was that by today at 6:00 a.m. EDT it would be fully functionable . . . well since I am typing this at 8:36 EDT . . . you can see that once again that has not happened!

So if you have tried to email me since late Friday night . . . I have not received it . . . it's funny the few emails that have perservered through the system and have reached me are all the JUNK ones . .. They have assured us that our email has been "saved" and not lost . . . I won't hold my breath on that one either!

Lil' Outlaws

The next Limited Editions session will feature "Lil' Outlaws" all decked out in their favorite Cowboy/Cowgirl attire! Email Problems!

UPDATE: As anticipated this NEW AND IMPROVED upgrade that was supposed to provide us with all these new enhancements(none of which I need BTW) is taking longer than anticipated. . . So as you can guess, I am still without email . . . So if you need to get in touch with me, please give me a call! Sorry for the inconvenience!

My internet provider is upgrading something in their email system and so my email is unavailable and has been part of today! It most likely will not be back up until tomorrow evening(Sunday night) . . . so if you have emailed me and I have not responded that is why . . . they told us there would be nothing "lost" but considering the problems I have wiht my ISP on a regular basis I'm certainly not holding my breath! Why Do They Grow Up?

Molly returned this year for some more portraits in dance costumes and fun things . . . and all I can say is WOW . . . where did the little girl go? It's amazing how in just one year you can start to see them growing into young ladies! This is always a treat for me. . . Thanks for coming Molly! Birthdays are a special day for every child! Why not make it more memorable and special with a birthday portrait! The Birthday Club is available for children 2 to 12 years of age, and this is how it works! To get your special Birthday Club coupon, just send me an email at prairieimages@hughes.net or call me at 873-5258 to enroll in the club. There is no obligation once you enroll, however, you will need the coupon to get the "Birthday Club Offer" and the only way to receive it is to be on the enrollment list. When you enroll I will need the birthdate of your child(ren) so that I can send the coupon at the right time! Please put "Birthday Club" in your subject line if possible! :-)

You will receive your coupon in the mail approximately one month prior to your child's birthday! You can schedule the appointment at your convenience within 2 weeks of the child's birthday. Seniors . . . It's Your Style

Senior 2009 . . . Just an update to present a short video of some of the 2008 Seniors . . . The time is getting closer. . . my schedule is seeing appointments . . . and June will be full VERY soon . . . only a few appointments remain for June! Senior sessions are usually booked a couple months in advance so if you are wanting to schedule before school starts in August. . . dont' wait too long! Once school starts and all the whirl of activities it makes it really crazy trying to get them all done before the yearbook deadline in November. . . Gone Fishin'

The next Limited Editions session will be to the theme of "Gone Fishin.' " It will be scheduled for Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th. Appointments need to be scheduled by Wednesday, April 23rd.

I am still open to ideas for "themes" . . . if you have a suggestion for the following months: May, August, and September be sure to send it to me! I will still offer the 8 bonus wallets if your idea is chosen!

2008 MHS Prom

How about a Sneak Peek of Saturday night! I am proud to say I survived my first prom shoot as well as my first After Prom! The kids looked AWESOME and were great to work with! Their patience was appreciated too as they stood in line for the pictures!

The pictures have been ordered and will be here soon! YAY!! The AFTER PROM Committee has purchased a class picture for everyone who attended Prom. So you do not need to order after all and they will be included with your regular prints!

Thanks again to all the students who made this a great "First Prom" night for me!
