Your Trash . . . Someone's Treasures!

Okay . . . Garage Sale season is a drawing near. . . The annual Trash & Treasure Days event sponsored by Meade Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Saturday April 25th. Start cleaning out those drawers and closets and get your goods ready! Contact Backroom Printing to put your sale on the map.

With that said . . . I know many of you are always cleaning out closet, drawers, etc getting ready for it . . . sooooo . . . I thought I'd throw out some items I'm looking for to see if there's anything waiting for a new home . . . If you have any of these things and would be interested in selling them, please give me a holler:

Rusty Old Tin Sheets(from old buildings)

Tall Wooden Double Doors

An old Rusty 50's style pickup!(I know I'm dreaming)

Little Girls/Boys Overalls: Need all sizes up to 3T and prefer the plain ones(no cartoon, pictures).

White Dresses that aren't real frilly(very simple cotton ones) . . . all sizes up to 2T

Boys Formal Wear(tuxedoes, dress suits preferably blacks/grays) . .. all sizes up to 4T

Girls Dresses that aren't "too Christmasy" . . . all sizes up to 4T

Attention Class of 2009

Graduation day is coming and it will soon be time to send your announcments out to all your family and friends! If you are still needing to order your announcements or need more prints or wallets your time is running out! Don't delay! All orders must be received by April 1st to guarantee that they arrive on time. Orders placed after this time should still arrive in plenty of time, however, they will not be guaranteed! High School March Madness

March Madness is here and Sub-State action across the state of Kansas kicks off this week! First round boys action brought the Oakley Plainsmen to Buffalo Country as the #7 seed. The Buffaloes started the game off right and jumped out to an early 17-3 lead! However, the Plainsmen were not about to give up and came fighting back to take the lead by one in the second quarter. The Buffalo men didn't allow them to get too far ahead and eventually tied the game at 19. The Buffaloes had the last possession before the half and Kellan Hernandez drained a 3 pointer and was fouled on the shot. The extra point was good and this took the Buffaloes to the locker room with a 4 point lead at half. Both teams came out the 2nd half looking for the win, but the Buffaloes were able to pull ahead and and finally found themselves with a comfortable lead the second half. Final Score Meade 67-Oakley 54.

The next round will take the Buffaloes to Johnson-Stanton County on Thursday night! They will take on the winner of the Sublette vs. Stanton County game which is being played tonight! Game time is not determined at this time! We hope to see you there!

Girls 2A action starts tonight with the Lady Buffaloes traveling to Elkhart! Good Luck Girls!
