Someone Turned One!

Logan visited me a couple weeks ago for his One year portraits! I'm always happy when Logan is coming because he always gives me cuddles and great smiles! Oh and you can't forget his deep hearty laugh too . .. cracks me up! I enjoyed our year Logan . . .and just wanted to share a few of my favorites! Come see me again!

Children's Valentine's Portraits will be available January 26-February 10th. These portraits will have specially priced collections and NO SESSION FEES! I have one of last year's portraits posted a couple days ago . .. but dressy clothes are not required. . just something that will be fun for the kiddos and will look good on a darker drop! I do have a few dressy outfits available to use(two tuxedos) as well as some pink/red tutus for little girls. . . Call today before the appointments are full!

On a final note. . . these little sweethearts came for portraits earlier in the week. Mom brought their Christmas dresses . . . aren't they adorable!

Chamber of Commerce Silent Auction

Meade Chamber of Commerce will be having a Fundraising Silent Auction on Friday, January 23rd during the Meade VS. Fowler Basketball Games! Local Businesses are donating gifts to be auctioned off. So be sure to come out and check out all the great things!

All money raised will go towards supporting the many activities that the Chamber of Commerce sponsors each year. Some of these include: Trash and Treasure Days, July Fourth Fireworks, Christmas in the Park, Breakfast with Santa and Citizen of the Year.

If you are interested in becoming a Chamber member, please contact Craig Unruh, President at 873-2900 or any chamber member. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month.

2009 Goals are now being discussed for both long-term and short-term projects.

Coming Soon: Silent Auction

The Meade Chamber of Commerce will be holding a fundraiser on January 23, 2009 at the Meade High School basketball games vs. Fowler. Businesses will be donating items to be auctioned off and these items will be displayed soon in the front window of Isaac Trucking(located at the stoplight around the corner from Backroom Printing). MHS Memorabilia will also be auctioned off as well as gift certificates and other fun stuff. So stop by and browse and make your list! Buffalo Hoops 2009

The anticipation was finally resolved last night in Stampede Stadium as the South Gray running rebels came to town for a visit! The rematch has been on the minds of these teams and fans since the Rebels laid in a last second basket to seal a victory at the Cimarron Invitational last month! Both teams started out a little slow, but the second quarter saw the Buffaloes take control and a 36-19 lead at the half. Second half action saw a fairly even third quarter from the two teams, but the Buffaloes pulled in a 19 point 4th quarter to earn the victory in fairly easy fashion. Final Score 70-47. This brings both teams to 6-1 on the season. A third matchup could be very possible during the league tournament later this month. Stay tuned!

In Girls action, the Lady Buffaloes came out with a point to proved and stunned the Lady Rebels in the first half. Meade put the first 5 points on the board and South Gray struggled to find the basket. The Lady Buffaloes kept fighting through and took a 30-29 lead into halftime! Second half action brought the Lady Rebels out of the locker room with fire in their eyes and they quickly took over the lead. The Lady Buffs couldn't seem to overcome the Rebels intensity and despite their fight clear to the end the Rebels came out on top.

Both Teams travel to Jetmore this Friday, January 9th to take on the Longhorns!
